Steve Jordan reviews removals content for Konnect You, drawing on 20 years of frontline experience in the moving industry and 30 years as a specialist editor and writer.

Steve worked in the removals industry from 1974 to 1994, becoming a director of an international moving company. During this time, he visited thousands of customers in their homes to assess moves, provide quotes, and advise on international relocations. He also served on management committees for the British Association of Removers (BAR), including its publicity team and ocean freight negotiations. 

Since 1994, Steve has worked as an editor and writer specialising in the moving and relocation industry. From 1995 to 2014, he edited the Observer for the Overseas Moving Network International (OMNI). In 2005, he became editor of Removals & Storage, the journal of the British Association of Removers. In 2011, he founded The Mover Magazine, which he edited until 2025. 

Steve now works as an independent expert reviewer, helping Konnect You ensure its removals guides reflect industry standards and practical realities for customers planning moves.
